Stitch and Whisker Crafting – Fursuit Commissions

By commissioning or purchasing from Stitch and Whisker Crafting, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. General

• You must be 18 years or older (or have a parent/guardian’s permission) to commission a fursuit.
• By sending payment, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms of Service in full.
• These terms may be updated at any time. The version in effect at the time of payment applies to your order.

2. Quotes & Orders

• All quotes are based on the information provided by the client and may change if the scope of work changes.
• A commission is not confirmed until payment a deposit is received.
• Reference images must be clear and accurate. Changes due to unclear or missing references may result in additional fees.

3. Payment

• Full payment or a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required before work begins.
• Payment plans must be completed on time. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of the commission with no refund.
• All prices are listed in USD.

4. Refunds & Cancellations

• Deposits are non-refundable once materials are ordered.
• If the client cancels:
  No refund will be issued for work already completed.
  Any refundable amount is at the sole discretion of Stitch and Whisker Crafting.
• If Stitch and Whisker Crafting must cancel the commission for any reason, a refund will be issued for any work not yet completed.

5. Turnaround Time

• Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees.
• Delays may occur due to material availability, health issues, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Clients will be informed of significant delays whenever possible.

6. Artistic Discretion

• Stitch and Whisker Crafting retains artistic discretion over construction methods, materials, and final detailing.
• Minor variations in color, shape, or style are normal due to handmade construction.
• Perfection is not guaranteed; handmade items may have small imperfections.

7. Revisions

• Minor adjustments are allowed during the work process if requested promptly.
• Major changes after approval or progress may incur additional fees or may be declined.
• Once the fursuit is completed, revisions are limited or unavailable.

8. Shipping

• Shipping costs are paid by the client unless stated otherwise.
• Stitch and Whisker Crafting is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged packages once shipped.
• International clients are responsible for customs fees, taxes, or import charges.

9. Care & Use

• Proper care instructions will be provided.
• Stitch and Whisker Crafting is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, or normal wear and tear.
• Fursuits are not toys and should be used responsibly.

10. Liability

• Stitch and Whisker Crafting is not liable for injuries, allergic reactions, or damages resulting from the use of the fursuit.
• Wearing a fursuit involves limited visibility and heat risk; the wearer assumes all responsibility.

11. Copyright & Usage

• Stitch and Whisker Crafting retains the right to use photos or videos of the finished fursuit for portfolios, websites, and social media unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Clients may not claim the work as their own creation.
• Reselling or reproducing the design for commercial purposes is not permitted without permission.

12. Chargebacks & Disputes

• Chargebacks or payment disputes filed without attempting to resolve the issue directly may result in blacklisting from future commissions.
• Evidence of work completed will be provided in the event of a dispute.

13. Termination of Service

• Stitch and Whisker Crafting reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at any time for harassment, abusive behavior, or violation of these terms.
